I would really recommend this hotel and will certainly return there.

I did like it very much, it was actually above my expectations before visiting island. People and staff great here, i did really enjoy my time, staying in Acquario villa, and in the future i'll recommend it to my friends if any of them would like to stay on Praslin for several days.

- 19 Jan 2012, Mr Jacques L.Les Lauriers Hotel provided a perfect holiday experience for us. We were staying in a spacious bungalow, with a terrace overlooking the garden, great for relaxing in the afternoon. The breakfast is served in the restaurant and is very good. The hotel is very close to the "Anse Volbert" beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Praslin. The water is shallow but clean, and good for refreshing yourself on a hot day. Les Laurier Hotel also organizes excursions, we were taken out by boat to visit several of the neighbouring islands, which was great and the excursions were very reasonable priced. The reception desk was very helpful in arranging anything else we needed.

- 12 Mar 2012, Mr Luc V.We only stayed one night to catch the next day early flight but the lady at Le Manglier made us feel very welcome and she took the time to chat with us as if we were staying for a whole week.

We enjoyed our stay but feel you need to revise the policy of men having to wear trousers at night for the restaurant. Many guests felt this was unnecessary and really was nothing more than an old colonial hang-up. The restaurant is outdoors so can be very humid and essentially we are paying to stay at your resort - you should not be dictating what we should and should not wear on holidays. Certainly there should not be any swimwear or overly revealing clothing, but men should be allowed to wear tailored shorts.
