The main celebration of this festival is held in the church at La Digue, the smallest of the three islands, where locals from Praslin and Mahe also converge to offer their gratitude and prayers to the Virgin Mary.
The Creole Festival is celebrated in October every year. This six-day long festival is a salutation to the traditions and the cultural heritage of Seychelles as reflected in its dance, music, cuisine, customs and crafts.
