Valmer Resort is a luxury self-catering hotel located on the most untouched part of Mahe island at Baie Lazare. The establishment has a unique and chic Creole decoration, having exceptional thatched roofs made out of latanier palm leaves, pillars made out of mahogany trees and the furniture locally made from Takamaka trees. Valmer Resort has a local Beachwear boutique and an art gallery.
The resort offers clients with Creole and international cuisine, in which they enjoys grilled fish, octopus curry, and buffet as well. Being very conscious about protecting the environment, Valmer resort has a zero tolerance of the use of chemicals in the garden as they like to leave the plants in the garden as natural as possible. The resort offers ground floor bedrooms for clients with disabilities. Valmer Resort also on occassion gives donations to children who need help or those seeking for a charitable sponsor.
