Joel has over 20 years of experience in the tourism industry He is the manager and owner of the Palm Beach Hotel on Praslin Island. He had worked in many large hotels before starting his own business. Mr. Joel is a very friendly person and welcomes all his guests for a pleasant stay at the hotel.
A stay in a lovely colonial-style hotel that is connected to its environment and community, for a completely authentic holiday experience. The Palm Beach hotel makes optimum use of the natural resources around it and doesn't waste a thing! The local river water is filtered for the water-supply and seaweed is collected from the beachfront to be made into compost for local farmers. In turn, these farmers often supply the hotel with ingredients for the delicious Creole food you may eat here! Even the bottles of wine and water that you drink are given to the locals for packaging juices in an effort to prevent littering.
