Le Duc de Praslin boasts of a well-known garden, with a collection of 100 varieties of orchids, hibiscus, tropical palm trees and the oldest tortoise on the island - 105 year old Josephine, who has a family of 6. It also has a big fresh water pond, where kids can help feed the fish during feeding time, while you simply relax from the sounds of its various waterfalls. Built amidst tall and magnificent trees, the hotel provides a typical Seychellois environment, with the Creole style reception, lounge and pool bar bringing forth a strong conservation concept.

on 29 Dec 2010 Beautiful gardens full of birdlife. I was also glad to see the use of solar panels.
